Short History

 The purpose of this blog is to be another voice to help remind us of the knowledge of our intended mission. To help point us to the knowledge and receipt of the FULLNESS OF THE GOSPEL. It is another testimony that the Son and Father will work with us individually and continue to fulfill their work and glory. This knowledge of the fullness is contained throughout the scriptures and shown it multi-media format in LDS temples. It is especially found all throughout the Book of Mormon. Knowledge is not enough. Men may share some information and invitational physical ordinances, but we must have experiences and endowments from on high. No man can give you that.

Some Information About My Past

I was raised in the LDS church. Served a good mission in NYC south Mission. Married in the temple. Gospel Doctrine teacher in SLC at 21. Served in many teaching callings to the young men and Elder's Quorums. Elders Quorum Secretary. Elders Quorum President. Sunday School President.

The Lord (after my incessant inquiring) has been schooling me for seven years (my whole life in many ways) to understand things as they are among us. In 2008, after a tragic experience (twins were born super early), I turned to the Lord with all my heart to become closer to him. I began intently searching the scriptures and church history. Reading everything I could. 

Some of the more notable books I had read were: Words Of Joseph Smith, TPJS, Approaching Zion by Hugh Nibley, books by Avraham Gileadi and attending his Isaiah and BOM Classes.

In 2009 I accepted the rude awakening I formerly put off accepting. I knew things were not in full order among us. I saw the contradictions and changes and lack of connection with heaven in the church. Even before coming across Denver Snuffer books and blog in 2010, I was weeping for our failures of the past and left wanting for more. I had already read thousands of pages of scripture, church history, church websites, books and documents; all on topics such as Zion, what true prophets say and do, fullness of priesthood, fullness of the Gospel (as BY thought it was and what it really is), calling and election and coming into the presence of the Lord, etc. I was praying to know the truth no matter what it would mean. I began to see that the Lord was trying to do so much more with Joseph Smith than what we have been left with since Nauvoo. 

In 2008 I promised the Father that I was willing to sacrifice anything for the truth and to be fully accepted by Him and His Son. I wish things were different in the church. I don’t like the fact that things are out of order in the fullness department. I wish leaders everywhere where among those who understood, testify and teach from experience what the fullness of the gospel is really about. I wish Zion (or even a prepatory consecrating community of like minded friends) were here for me and my family, friends and for scattered Israel. I know it is hard to accept these things. I was a fool. I was pacified into thinking that all was well among us until my eyes were opened. Always paid tithing, always held callings, attended the temple, did home teaching. I honestly was working so hard (and getting too busy and burnt out in the process) in the organization to please God and do what I (and the church) thought was most right. I sang with the usual chorus that I am thankful for true prophets leading the true church. But I also always had this underlying feeling that THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO THE GOSPEL than what I was participating in. That we relied too much on leadership. That we are too structured and organized and busy to really have any time and energy left to seek greater things. I really had no idea there was so much more! I had no idea what that temple endowment was really trying to teach me to go and do in mortality! But once I realized, boy what a realization to see myself standing at the bottom of a rather large mountain I needed to BEGIN to climb.

Our Current Opportunity

The Lord has raised up and prepared (for 40 yrs) a true messenger among us for a seriously wise purpose. (Click on the first recommended blog link below). He has been rejected by the leaders of our people and already been denied re-entry into the church by all of the General Authorities. I believe he has obtained the highest fullness a man can obtain in mortality, by visiting personally with the Savior and then the Father. Not that we need another leader or strong man over us. Not to compete with the church. Not to continue our un-intended idolatry of relying too much on the arms of flesh. But to turn us all back to the fullness. To simply remind us, to help prepare us and then do that mission which WE were intended to perform all along.



The Lord is calling us to repent of our gentile follies, to connect with Him on our own and join in with the voices of servants crying repentance. This servant and other awaking servants are sharing the message of the Lord.To cause many servants of the Lord to awake and arise. That day is here. If you can but have the eyes to see and ears to hear. Study these things out. Ponder deeply. See the signs of the last days already upon us. See the famine of hearing the word of the Lord and lack of teaching about the greater things among us since Nauvoo. Cry out to the Father and the Lord, and ask if these things are not true. Ask Them to explain to you the truth of our history and our true standing before them. Tell Them that you are willing to sacrifice anything for the truth's sake. That you do not want any kind of folly or imperfections hedging up the way. Turn to your Savior and get your own revelation. It will usually start out small, but it will continue and become more sure if you never stop seeking the Lord. Our Savior will answer your questions. He will teach and prepare you. He is the only one who stands at the Gate who offers the greater things. Then we shall all see eye to eye, all show know Him on a personal level and go on performing that which we were always intended to do.

Don't Just Know... Experience

If you want to find out who the true messengers are in our day, you should become one yourself. Then compare your journey with theirs. Compare what you know and share to what they know and share. Get your own experiences so that when others share theirs, you can see they too have been on the Journey to the Fullness.



I know that the Lord does answer prayers. Inspiration, thoughts, greater understanding, revelation will all come. It will start small and become great. Great motivation to understand even more truth comes. Baptism of Fire/HG is an actual event that you will feel from head to toe. You will notice the fire within you after getting it. Things really make more sense after that. Teaching from on high will even flow while you sleep. You will have experiences that you can’t quite explain. Understanding of the scriptures and the fullness of the gospel will increase day and night. The word of the Lord will be eventually be made known unto you. You will have things told to you that you don't yet comprehend until later. After some trial and error, after some tests of obedience and sacrifice, He will eventually testify to you of your standing before Him. The Father will also declare some things. You will likely doubt the event. You will think you are just not good enough to have such a proclamation. Believe the testimony of God and His Son given to you! They knew you before you were here! They see your dedication, sacrifices and obedience now. They know how you will turn out in the future, more than you do! Trust them!



Beware of the voices of men and women who think you a wild or strange member has come among them. Beware of the dark side trying to scare, deceive or throw you off the path. Beware of those who accuse you of apostasy from the arms of flesh, while you are getting in order with God. Beware of those who will say you cannot go therein for whatever reason. Beware of those who put themselves in between you and the Savior of this world. You will hear voices from here and from below telling you to doubt everything. Hang in there. The Lord will bring you through safely. Trust in Him alone.

I have seen these things in my own life. I have seen it in the life of others. This is the beauty of the fullness of the gospel! It is fair and just! It is for everyone. God is no respector, He will not hear you any less or not grant greater knowledge and experiences because of the church calling (or lack thereof) you hold.


The real ordinances come from heaven direct. You can get those even if others think only they can control who is saved or damned. Ordinances of men were intended to point you in the right direction. Beware when the men who control the mortal ordinances knowingly or unknowingly hedge up the way to receiving the real ordinances of God! Which is greater? The authority from men, or the authority and power from God? I say the only authority granted to men is to help turn us all to obtain the authority and power from God direct. No man can take away that which the God of heaven grants.



Trust the Lord to guide you right. Trust in Him when earth and hell tries to cause you to doubt. Trust in Him to deliver and bring you safely where He promises you will end up. The word of the Lord, the Promises from the Lord and the fullness of priesthood and gospel, the visitation and actual Presence of the Son and the Father… are for all those who come in at the right gate.

SEEK FROM THE LORD THAT WHICH THE GENTILES AND ISRAELITES HAVE SOUGHT FROM THE HANDS OF MEN! Endure to that end until you succeed.


What more can I say? The only thing left for us all to do is to go and do.
That doing is between each man and His Lord.



You tell me which voices are seriously persuading you to seek greater things. You tell me just where is the voice of the Lord among the gentiles in our day. Choose just what voices you will hear and inquire with heaven about. Contemplate deeply everything. Pray about everything.



NEVER GIVE UP!


"God is not a respecter, we all have the same privilege. Come to God, weary him until he blesses you. We are entitled to the same blessings, Jesus, revelations, Just Men, Angels, etc... Obtain that Holy Spirit of promise - then you can be sealed to Eternal life." Words of Joseph Smith, p15

Doctrine and Covenants 14:7

And, if you keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life,

which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.

John 17:3

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God,

and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

And unto him that repenteth and sanctifieth himself

before the Lord shall be given eternal life.

John 10:28

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,

neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Jacob 6:11

O then, my beloved brethren, repent ye, and enter in at the strait gate,

and continue in the way which is narrow, until ye shall obtain eternal life.



 

2 Peter 1:

10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

D&C 93:1
Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my face and know that I am"

Matthew 24:14

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Doctrine and Covenants 103:7

And by hearkening to observe all the words which I, the Lord their God, shall speak unto them, they shall never cease to prevail until the kingdoms of the world are subdued under my feet, and the earth is given unto the saints, to possess it forever and ever.

Defending our History

 

D&C 124 - Revelation to the saints to build and finish the temple was given Jan 19, 1841. By this time, the section heading states that the saints had already built up their city and even church headquarters were already setup. The Lord asks the saints to now go with all their might to finish the Nauvoo temple, so he could restore HIS ordinances to our people, new things, hidden things, even above the temple rituals/ceremonies the Lord already stated the saints would do in that temple in this section. Isn't it interesting that between Jan 1841 and Jun 1844 when our prophet was taken from us (likely for our failure to finish that temple), that the members failed to finish the temple in what I would consider "the allotted time" to do so, since Joseph was taken prematurely from us? Hmm, around 3.5 yrs of warning. Then for about 3.5 yrs, the church had no "one man", no president, no presiding GA considered "the Prophet" by the members (search for Andrew Ehat's BYU paper on "The Mormon Succession Crises"). The temple was unfinished when Joseph went to that jail, and he knew that him and his brother would die by mobs if they went back. He knew what would happen. Did he offer himself up for our failure to redeam Zion? To allow an opportunity for us to have a second chance to redeem Zion and at some later time and some other place as circumstances require? That opportunity is coming fast, and I think most LDS and even many israelites and gentiles around the world feel it. What are we doing to be a part of that? Are we personally prepared individually to be invited there? Are we doing what the temple ritual plainly is teaching us to do in this mortal life? Or have we gentiles, who were offered the fullness in the 1800's (preparing souls to go to a temple or mountain to face God themselves, from the least of saints to the greatest... all have that duty and priviledge), even having Zion, a holy city among us... lost the "fullness of the gospel" as 3 Nephi ("when the gentiles shall lose the fullness of my gospel..." -who else was given the BOM and the fullness in the last days?) says we would? How well do we know our own gospel? How well do we know what the fullness of gospel means, or the fullness of priesthood, or what those hidden things and personal ordinances the Lord would give as found in D&C 124? 

The Lord states in D&C that a time would be given the saints to have the fullness brought back, as the Lord told Joseph that it was lost. The Lord states that if the saints (in the 1800's) fail to earn the fullness and Zion, they would be removed out of their place. Surely they were removed out of their place after Joseph offered himself for them. The 12 were directed by Joseph to manage the church right before he tells them he was leaving them soon (see the Last Charge). There was no presiding president for about 3 yrs. Things were rather chaotic after Joseph's death. Joseph did not name any other successor after his death. He did not name Brigham Young to be his successor. His brother Hyrum was previously made a prophet/seer/revelator to the church as a Patriarch. Hyrum was his successor... but Joseph new that if he and Hyrum return to Carthage, the mobs would take their lives. As if he knew his own successor would go with him. In the last charge he told the 12 he was leaving and put the church upon their shoulders. The saints were driven from Nauvoo, with Brigham Young heading them to the rockies, as Joseph formerly said they would go (or be cast into the wilderness for a time?). Isn't it obvious Joseph knew exactly what was happening and what would happen to him and Hyrum? Isn't it easy to conclude that the Lord was probably telling Joseph that the members and leaders were failing to receive the fullness and Zion in Nauvoo, and that He was displeased? 

Summary:
There was no other named Presiding successor to Joseph, by Joseph as the D&C states presiding authorities should do.
Joseph obviously knew what was going on with Nauvoo failures, but obviously not telling the 12 and church the whole story. But he did hint to it.
Joseph knew the saints would go on to the rockies. Obviously they were being removed out of their last place for failure to redeem the fullness and Zion in Illinois while Joseph was still with them (compare to Moses and Israel).
Brigham Young made himself the "one man" about 3 yrs after the death of Joseph, without a comment consent vote. Others were trying to convince members to make them church Pres or the one man, so Brigham convinced the members that he should be the one man since he was a close friend of Joseph and head of the apostles.
Brigham Young himself stated in JD that he was not a prophet like Joseph Smith. Even saying he was a yankee guessor and never had a visitation. Obviously he was trying to teach and live the best he could what Joseph Smith was being told to do by the Lord Himself. I would invite all to research and determine wether or not Presidents after him were connected to the Lord like Joseph Smith or guys in our scriptures were. 
Have we changed doctrines, teachings, even temple rituals or clothing? The church has been confused on and even changed teachings on past practices such as PM, law of adoption, consecrating cities (most of the D&C directs the saints how to do this), even changing many things in temple ceremonies and clothing?

So where are we really today? What does it really mean to have the fullness of the gospel among us? What does it really mean to prophecy, be a seer and give revelations? What new things are we learning since Joseph's departure? Or are we losing even what he understood and lived since his death? Could we be misled thinking all is well in Zion, when Zion is far from us today? Could we be defending a church history that looks wonderful to us to protect our presumed all is well attitude? Could there be a history that we need to examine more to see what really happened? Where are the answers to these questions today?

Tough questions for a tough time.

Written law and temporary things do not save.

This was in response to a group discussion I recently posted somewhere else.

Written laws and rituals embedded with symbolism to teach us something, are for those who do not already have the laws and truths of God written in their hearts. Our problem among the LDS or any organized movement is that we seek to perpetuate rules and regulations and forget about the individualized, hard, sacrificial works of Abraham and others in our scriptures to get the required education and connection to have those eternal truths and laws sealed into our minds and hearts.

Personal righteousness, according to God's rightness is REQUIRED. Our thoughts on what it means to be "right" may be in error. "God's thoughts are not our thoughts" say the scriptures. Try to set aside what we deem or think is the right way, and look at things as if you haven't learned anything about the gospel. Have an open heart and open mind. Search the scriptures, ponder and pray until you come to a full understanding. Our God is loving, but also logical, He does want us filled with knowledge and understanding.

Becoming like Jesus is REQUIRED. He is the one to follow. He said so Himself. Who are we to question the word of the Lord? Become like Christ in the way that we want the Father's will over all of ours first. Become like Christ by becoming one with the Father, having the will and word of God permeating our physical beings until we arrive at the perfect day... a day where the Lord will approach us and tell us. Perfection according to God, not according to the perfectionistic man.

We are commanded to be like Christ. Christ will help us become such, if that truly is our true desire and we ask Him to take us there. We will believe in Him enough that we will wait for Him to take us there.

I don't know how anyone could think that we just need to accept Jesus and we are saved or at-one with Him. Faith without works is dead faith. All of our scriptures, Joseph's life and the life of all those who go thru the hardships to obtain great promises and connections proves we must experience and learn the same to obtain those things from Christ.

Denver Snuffer is right, we cannot bypass the rough experiences we will experience, necessary experiences needed to wring out anything negative inside us, experiences to teach us what we must know to be saved, to pick up that cross, see what the Lord went through... so we can see a little of what He suffered while sharing what the Father helped Him to learn, to ultimately be eternal friends with Him. If we are not willing, or thinking that is not necessary, we do not have the faith and belief necessary to take hold of these greater things. Give everything to Christ. Give up our worries. Give up what others might think. Give up on thinking we will never make it. Doubt your own doubt. Give the Father and the Lord a true heart felt message saying you will go through whatever it takes to get where He is, and see if His own promises to all don't come about. Share with others what He asks you to share to assist Him in His last final gathering before coming destruction and cleansing of the earth. Never give up. This is the Lord's work: helping people come into His true eternal church, or network of friends... despite what the organized religions of today go and do.

When the veil is rent, we will all see our follies. We will see how all the mortal dividing and division and breaking up of families over what we each think is the right way to God is not right. Judge not, help all to head in the right direction, care not what level of the ladder to heaven each is on... and assist each other to keep going higher and higher. I don't care and I know the Lord doesn't care what ism or what group you count yourself a part of on earth... let us help ALL, whether Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhism, athiest or independent seekers of the Lord.

We must go back to the original fullness of the gospel. All the temporary temples and rules and laws and priests and pastors and prophets were meant to help us get back to it. A temporary provision until we all figure out that Adam and others before Moses (Patriarchs) had the fullness of the Gospel of God without these temporary means. We all need to be the temples of God. We all need to be His Priests and pastors and prophets, all seeing eye to eye, where we don't have to tell each other know the Lord, for we already do. All equal, non above the other in the negative sense... but if Jehovah and all El wants to raise some up to where they are, then let us honor that, and take it as a testimony that we too can get there. They want us joint heirs with them. They want us to be like them. We will sit next to and with them, not under them. This is the true message of the Fathers. This is that fullness obtained in the Book of Mormon and the Bible and true prophet's lives. 

Our Lord is the mediator and God to all of Abraham's seed. "I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob"... means He is Lord to all. When organizations fail to receive the true fullness or zion among them, there are always alternative means to obtain a full connection with Him and our Father. If some begin to see eye to eye, then will the Lord create a Zion group to be a part of... that final Zion group who meet the Zion coming from above, and together they will build the New Jerusalem.
